There comes a time in every person’s life where the universe grants them the gift of inspiration through the people surrounding them. People are placed in our lives on purpose to help us grow as greater individuals. I have been blessed enough to say that I have a multitude of these extraordinary individuals around me. They inspire me daily to climb higher, seek more knowledge, travel farther, love deeper, give more freely and to think more openly. They make me want to lose myself in the culture of another, better my knowledge of myself, both mentally and physically, learn another language, see the landscape of each continent, learn about different views, laugh more, taste different foods and touch the lives of others just for the sake of living life.
They inspire me to be a better daughter, a better sister, a better aunt, cousin, niece, friend, supervisor, instructor, student, roommate, woman, and most importantly a better human being, and for that I am thankful.
I don’t believe in accidents. I believe in lessons. What can be taken away from each experience? What have I learned? Live without regret because if a lesson was learned from a “mistake” it served its purpose. The hardships of today are the stepping stones to a more brilliant tomorrow. The courage to face your future lays in the experiences had everyday leading up to it.
Experience life! See it. Taste it. Touch it. Smell it. Hear it. Follow your dreams. Believe in your power. Do things that ignite that deep fire within you that we call Passion. Don’t make excuses. Don’t allow yourself to be your own road block.
“Don’t say you don’t have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo Di Vinci, Thomas Jefferson and Albert Einstein.” – H. Jackson Brown Jr.
Yay! This is so exciting! Off to a great start my friend!
Thanks Lady! I was feeling inspired today!
